Can i invest in shares and mutual funds? As i don't have a pan card.? |
I have about 8acres of mango garden, my occupation is agriculture. but how to get pan card through agriculture income This is true that you can't invest in stocks without having PAN card, as it is mandatory now. However you may have PAN card even if you are earning through agriculture. For this you will have to fill the PAN application form and in place of source of Income you may put 'others' option. Later when you start earning through stocks, then in any case you must either pay the tax or file the return. So PAN card is essential, and you should apply for it to enter into stock market. without PAN CARD u cannot I think upto Rs.50,000/- you do not need PAN card to invest in Mutual funds. If you wish to invest Rs.50,000 or more you need PAN number. It is best apply PAN. You can invest in IPO UPTO 50000/- without PAN with cheque. PAN is not bad. Accept advice of banker. You will get benefits if you have PAN. After PAN you can apply between 50001-99999 and you will have good chance of allotment. you can invest in mutual funds, even though you do not have a pan card.if you are from kerala contact me, my name is philip, residing at trivandrum, my mob is 9387805368 |
