Most funds will have a minimum investment requirement of $3000 with a $100 minimum additional investment. Save up until you can buy into the minimum amount. Call them and they will walk you through it. you need a minimum amount to invest in an index fund. best bet is to open a money market account and save in it until you have enough then use it to invest Go on their website. You can also call them and they will explain in detail the entire procedure and answer all your questions. They have always been very helpful to me. According to research and a recent business times articles, most mutual funds will not help you make money. They have high sales charges and commissions. If you can pick up some investment knowledge, you can grow your money easily on your own. A $200 monthly investment with a 25% annual rate of return (compounded) will give you approximately 9.7 millions in 30 years.
