Has anyone heard of Pioneer Mutual Funds and are they a good mutual fund investment?

Also, when investing in Mutual Funds what should I check everyday the NASDAQ, AMEX or S & P 500? Let's just say I'm investing in Aggressive Growth mutual funds from that company. What should I be checking everyday?

Don't buy mutual funds. There are too many fees involved. The cost of running the fund, paying the managers and employees all cut into your earnings. As a result, they pay advisers to recommend them, further cutting into your earnings.

If you want diversity, do some research into companies (stock screeners like the one on Yahoo! are useful) and buy stocks, it cuts out the middleman and will give you better returns.
