What type of mutual funds? With some funds, no time is good. With others almost any time is good but some times are better than others. Are you going to have a regular investment program investing x amount monthly? If so now is a good time to begin if you are going to continue for more than 5 years. If your inestment horizon is long term i.e. more than 5 years then definately this is the best time to invest in mutual funds. I would rather advice you not to invest all your money in a go. Find the best fund and invest your money in 5 to 10 different funds and in instalment. Not in one go.
