If i'll invested in Mutual fund then what will be the risk?

is any chances there that i lose my money?.

Boy is there ever a chance you will loose money. You need to check out the historical performances of several mutual funds to see for yourself.

BUT. If you pick several good mutual funds with different investment objectives and do not panic at the first 30% drop in value but instead take that oportunity to invest more then over a long period of time--10 years--if history repeats itself you should be able to show 10% to 13% annual returns on your mutual fund investments.

Is always a Risk when you Invest Money into Something.....Yes i would say before you put your sweat money in any things think twice and always ask people who knows about it and take there guidance it will help you a lot.
All the best to you.

Since Mutual Funds are based on shares there is always a chance of losing money but the people manageing the mutual funds are trained professionals with alot of experience in the stock market so risk is limited.

Obviously some managed funds though perform alot better than others so you should do some research into who is manging the ones you want to look at and also what their prior experience and their prior profits have been.

In australia last year some funds only returned 5 or 6% while the top fund returned upwards of 50%

Cheers, ToNy!

Yes there will be a chance you will lose money with a Mutual Fund.

Most investments have a chance to lose money (US T-bills are considered risk free - but in reality there is a risk that the US goverenment would go bankrupt - but the risk is so low that it is assumed to be zero)

If you want the ability to earn MORE than T-bills you have to take on some Risk. The Risk of a Mutual fund varies depending on the type of mutual fund it is and what it is invested in.
