Mutual Fund Query?

I would like to invest in SBI Mutual Fund and subsequentlyevery month through SIP. Please tell me which fund would suit me best so that i can maximize the return.

There is no such thing as the best fund.

Investment decision depend upon your risk appetitie and the Investment horizon ( period) that you have in mind.

My advice is:

1. Plan an investment horizon of a minimum of 365 days, any redemptions after that , will be tax free, No capital Gains tax.

2. Split your Finds into: 25% In Debt Funds, 40% in Balanced Funds and balanced in Equity Funds.

There are various Fuds available, you can also see their performance track record in many publications. You can check on their history and pick the best ones.

reliance, Franklin, Fidelity, DSP ML, HDFC, these ae good fund houses who manage their assets well.
