Can illigal immigrant can invest money in US? |
I came here 6 years ago on my student visa.My status expired 3 years ago.I still live in this country,I work and pay taxes.I saved some money and I want to invest in mutual funds but I am affraid that it may be risky since now I am here illegally. I do have social security number I do believe you need a social security number to invest via a broker or bank. You DO NOT pay taxes if you are here illegally!!!!!! Don't feel bad. The only thing you have lost is the movement in the fund until you get back in, that's assuming the fund moves higher during your "safe haven" time. If it move...
