You need an advisor. William oneils books are the pinnacle in terms of how to make money in stocks, hence, the name of his books. Also, EWJ ishares japan is a tip.

Diversify. Try a little of each, you shouldn't put all your money in one type of stock or fund.

I'm moving a lot of money to international investments this year, but I think small caps will continue to grow beyond expectations this year as well.
