Can "International Bond Funds" invest in "Yankee Funds"? |
Please don't aswer this if you don't know about investing. It really depends on the charter of the fund. But international does usually mean that the fund can invest in bonds of it's own country. But you'll have to look at the profile of the bond fund itself. It might say something like "can invest in up to 20% of domestic bonds...." Generally, the key word to watch is "Foreign." That usually signifies the fund does not invest in any domestic issues. But it is all a name game anway. So read the prospectus carefully. |
