As a rule of thumb avoid any Scheme that is less than a year old.

HSBC is a great company. They're pretty good at stock information. Who knows if they'll be good in this new fund.

It might be wiser to find a no-load fund that's been around (track record) doing the same type of investing. Stick to funds with low internal fees, good track record & you'll do fine.
