What percentage can i expect on average if i invest, (personally, myself) in a mutual fund , yearly?

It depends on the type of fund. If you buy an index fund that tracks the S&P 500, you might expect an average of 10% or so a year, but that can vary widely (you might make 30% one year, or lose 20%). Generally there's a tradeoff between risk and return--small cap funds do better on average because they invest in riskier companies, etc.

It depends on what types of funds you pick! Some are safer, like bond funds, but the returns are little and slow...some are more risky...If you do not know this you need to read up on mutual funds before you hand over the money...

You could loose your shirt. It's not a guaranteed option.

Depends on the fund, but I have gotten back 7 or 8 percent. I finally pulled all my money out of these funds and invested it directly and get 15 to 20 % with buying and selling a couple of stocks.

I average around 50% per year. Buy only on "buy on weak signals", invest in good funds, all No Load, non 12b-1 funds and invest for the future.

Diversify within a few funds, perhaps 2 or 3 mutual fund companies.

Not knowing what you are doing will get you around 24%

Getting lucky can and has yielded huge % gains. Don't be greedy, just do your homework.

I have been investing since the mid 80's and this can be done!

Better make an overseas investment.

You will get a 13% rate of interest in Belarusian banks. NO RISK AT ALL because all deposits are state secured.
Or lend your money privately to Belarusian entrepreneurs who will pay you over 30% interest per year. Very low risk and high rate of return.
