Is there any good Vietnam Fund to invest?

please tell me =]

There are 2 funds that trade in USD on the London AIM market and these can also be bought in the US as pink sheet "F" or tracker stocks. A third fund is managed by Dragon capital and I believe this trades on the Irish exchange & in Luxembourg.

The first 2 funds mentioned above are the Vietnam Opportunity Fund and Vietnam Holdings Ltd.

London symbols are VOF and VNH.

US pink sheet symbols are VTOPF.PK and VNMHF.PK.

Websites: for VOF, http://www.vinacapital.com.
for VNH, http://www.vietnamholding.com

A useful online Vietnamese newspaper in English is: http://www.thanhniennews.com.

Caution: both VOF and VNH are organized as Cayman islands trusts. There is no regulatory authority in the USA (pink sheets companies don't have to report). If the principals decide to disappear with the loot, there's no recourse. So you'd want to study the websites carefully and also study Vietnam as an emerging economy.

Another caution: that "F" at the end of the pink sheet symbol denotes a stock that trades on a foreign exchange. Unlike the rest of the flimsy pink sheet stuff, the foreign or "F" section includes some well-known companies, including Nestle of Switzerland. If you place a US order for an "F" stock, a syndicate of brokers will execute that trade directly on the foreign exchange as no inventory is carried in the US. Your broker will probably have to get quotes and place the order by phone. The pink sheet quote will be higher than a comparable quote on London because the syndicate has built-in fees for their trouble.

You would have to do your own home work on this but Vietnam is a very booming country, feel sure you will do good.
