Are any of these ideas good? At the moment t-bills are a real good bet. The best investments in the U S at the moment are in companies outside the U S, especially in China. The growth rate there is about 4x that in the U S. Consider investing in "Blue Chip" stocks (GE, Pepsi, Microsoft, Proctor and Gamble) as good long term solid investments.
