Watch it...banks are risky these days.

Of course risk can be good, if you find a bank that is in a bit of turmoil right now, but you think they will get pulled out of the fire, you might have a good opportunity to get in while they are low.

On the other hand the giants like JP Morgan/Chase will be around for a long time, but as such probably will remain pretty stagnant in growth over next few years.

In my opinion, US Bancorp is the only bank I can see that is safe in todays environment.
