I want to get invest some money in stock, how do i buy stock?

sorry that "get" should not be there before invest. lol

Investing in "individual" stocks takes a lot of knowledge and practice; so I would not suggest doing this until you understand completely how the stock markets work, or you will become very frustrated and disappointed.

Visit Vanguard.com and learn about mutual funds, index funds, and exchange-traded-funds (ETFs). Trading funds is less risky than trying to trade "individual" stocks.

As far as buying stock, there are plenty of online brokers. I have used Scottrade for awhile and have had no complaints.

Open a brokerage account at Zecco.

I'm not sure what country you are in, so this may be too general for you.

Use an online broker. Probably do a search on Google for that. These are usually the cheapest, but require you to do your own research. In Australia you could use etrade.com.au or commsec.com.au.

Alternatively, ask your bank.

Use Scottrade.com. They are a discount broker. so you only need $500 to start. $7 trades.

You will have to do your own research though..

Pick up "Investing for Dummies". Also make a habit of going to The Motley Fool online - www.motleyfool.com. Finally, make a habit of watching Jim Cramer's show "Mad Money" on CNBC, and visit his website www.TheStreet.com and subscribe to his free newsletter.

The mechanics are easy, there are lots of on-line brokerage accounts such as Sharebuilder.com that will allow you to buy one share at a time with minimal commission costs.

The hard part is doing the research to find out what to invest in. Again there is a lot of free material on the web for introductory investors. You can go to the CNBC web site an watch CNBC TV when you are home (or on the web). Take it slowly. If you are young invest for the long term, time is on your side. Don't get caught up in the day to day market fluctuation.

First of all you go to your bank and speak with a financial advisor. Then they will tell you how you could open a stock trading account.or you can open an online account e-trade and start buying and selling stocks.
Stocks are great when it comes to good return, and it needs a wide understanding about the market. To Learn more about how to pick the best stocks and stock trading check the website link below.
