Is it a good idea to invest in Euro money?

I want to start to invest or save. I don't want to rely on just US dollars. I'm new to this whole thing, so here are my questions.

If I live in the US, how can I get Euro money?
Do I have to invest them in stocks?

You CAN go into Euro, but you may want to ask, SHOULD you. Europe is likely the next region to get hit next by more severe financial loss write-downs. Signs of recession are showing up, and there is indication that the Euro as a currency may not survive. The strains of the widely different economic/fiscal conditions in member countries is putting a major strain on the union with may fall apart. Would suggest more direct exposure to Asian currencies, and commodity currencies (Canada Australia) vs. Euro as a way to diversify from US$. Good luck!

The Euro countries are developing quickly so the euro dollar will rise.
