I wanted to know how do you invest in stocks and make money from them?

I'm eighteen and have never bought a stock in my life I don't know anything about them I just want to start investing my money so I can make money

use various financial ratio to get rid of junk stocks. these will helps you out:

Well, I wouldn't follow this stock guide:

It's funny, but I doubt it will make you rich!

Think about what you will do with the money if you start making it. Figure out what other alternatives there are and study.

Get in touch with a Financial Advisor- similar but different than a stock broker. They will help you set up a retirement 1st- more important than making big money quickly and at your age if you invest early you could have several million by 40/45.
They can also guide you to high to low risk stocks, bonds, etc.

Basically you tell them what you want to buy, they buy it with your money and keep a small percentage for themselves. Some will contact you for certain stocks if you are wanting to be a player. I know some very good ones in the DFW area.

haha, well you cant just start investing your money without knowing anything about stocks. So if you don't have the time, and effort, to put in then just use a fund manager.

On the other hand if you really want to manage your own portfolio the first step is learning all you can about stocks. Go to a local library and take out some books on the stock market/investing or search online. It will take a lot of time and effort but it can be a very rewarding experience (and i don't mean rewarding in just monetary terms)

read the following books first before you start investing ok.

the intelligent investor

security analysis

a financial accounting textbook

" investing is most intelligent when it is most business like."
Ben Graham

"buy the business not the stock."
Warren Buffett
