Is American Diamond jewellery a real diamond Or Indian diamonds jewellery are real?

As in America, gold available is 15Carat and Indian gold is pure 22carat gold.

So is American diamond also a impure diamond compared to Indian diamond?

Is it better to invest in American diamond or Indian diamond?

American diamonds are not real so it is not good for investment, I don't know anything about indian diamond thought.

There is no such thing as an American Diamond. Most people of East Indian descent (including me) tend to associate American Diamond to fake diamonds, primarily CZ. Contrary to that belief, diamonds available within the US are as genuine as the one's available in India. Diamonds in general come with impurities and growth inclusions. They are graded based on the clarity, color and cut.

Regarding diamonds as investment. It is not recommended to consider diamonds as investments. The only time you actually tend to get an ROI on diamonds is over a minimum period of 25 years and on most cases in larger diamonds over 2 carats on higher clarity and color ranges. The other far off possibility would be if all the mines in the world cease diamond production.

Gold is available in America from 10k to 24k. It is a matter of alloying the metal. Gold is made up of 24 parts...10k gold is 10 parts gold and 14 parts other metal, so on and so forth. Indian 22k gold is the same quality as Ameican 22k gold - it's just an alloying term.

The same goes for diamonds. Diamonds are generally not mined in America, so to call it "American" diamond is false. Any diamond from anywhere in the world can have the same grading standards. Check out GIA for the standards that the industry adheres to:

I agree with the above poster, diamonds are not meant as an investment. They will go up in value, but you will most likely not get the real value of the stone when you go to sell it.
