What return would you get if you invested 拢300,000?

If I were to put 拢300,000 into a non risky savings account, what is the best return i could achieve.

I must be able to access my money within 30 days.

P.S. dont tell me to invest in property, paintings, oil, shares, gold etc

we have been looking to invest money and hsbc (the only place we checked as they are our bank ) offered about 拢1300 a month on 拢330,000. there are different accounts and rates depending on how quickly u want to access yr money, i think that this is 6 months so may not be what u want, however it may give u a bit of an idea.

Non risk savings accounts currently returning around 6% gross - internet banking usually gives highest return up to 7% gross.

Go to your bank and ask them. It's in their interest for you to have as much money as possible with them.

I don't think anyone on here would be able to give justice to an investment of that size.

Putting 拢300,000 into a Savings Account, Fixed or Time Deposit fetches little interest which varies from Bank to Bank. The only safety is that your money is available 100% at any time!

To know what return you would get at a point in time, you would have to agree a percentage with a bank and work your interest at will

risk free? go and buy treassury bills with maturity of 30 days... return will be 5.5% or 1 400 USD:)

Post office there are a lot's of good offers non risky for your money.
