ok so this is what i asked before....Ok when they say you should invest in gold, what does that exactly mean? Buy gold?.

now my question is what if u have gold jewelry? is that kinda the same thing?

It is the same thing.
Gold is gold. You are going to pay more in the form of jewelry, so that's not so good. Plus make sure the purity is top. But gold is gold. Weather you get a certificate that says someone is holding it for you or it is in a jewelry box.
The reason it is going up is uncertainty in markets.
If everything else falls apart... your jewelry will buy you food better than your certificate of ownership.
