Really Important Quesion!!!?

Ok when they say you should invest in gold, what does that exactly mean? Buy gold?

There are multiple ways to invest in gold.

By investing in gold you can either directly buy the bullion (metal) itself by buying an ETF (Exchange Traded Fund), such as GLD or IAU, or gold coins (Kruger Rands), or indirectly, by buying the shares of gold producing companies (e.g Yamana Gold AUY, Barrick ABX or Newmont Mining NEM), which tend to effect a 'leverage' sort of effect to some extent (i.e. if the gold price goes up by say 2%, gold mining stocks might go up 3% etc).

I would however be wary, as gold has spiked up in the last few weeks, so its a bit late to be jumping on the bandwagon right now.
