Yes, because the price of gold surpased $800/oz today, and is still rising. Based on these numbers, this is a cash cow investment, with rising revenues with the rising price of gold.

But what you professor wants is the answer according to the accounting principles he has taught you.

No because revenue is not increasing year after year and it is likely the cost of doing business will continue to rise hence this is a poor investment.
