Is gold worth investing into anymore?

Been considering buying a few stocks. Is it still worth it or is the money making potential been sucked out of it already?

As for gold itself, " the train has already left the station" financial advisor said on the radio, and the price has fallen slightly. But some people believe it can only go up and especially during times of crisis.

There are stocks from companies that are going into mines previously shut down and going over the ore with new technologies.

On the financial side if you have the money it is good to invest in some kind precious metals. I like platinum It is prudent to have a diverse portfolio. Do some research before you plunk any money down.

Now that said, gold mining in many parts of the world is really polluting the enviornment with nasty chemicals,so you might want to reconsider the total costs of of your investment and how it effects others besides yourself.

I personally think it's too expensive

No. Gold is not a stock. And hence pays neither dividend nor interest.

Don't do it.

At least not for that reason.

i dont know about now, but 2 weeks ago the price of gold was through the roof!

I like the real GOLD nuggets.

As most gold is mined as very fine dust and tiny nuggets, the larger (over 1oz) nuggets are very rare! Actually they are as rare as large diamonds!

I would suggest you look into large nuggets!

To see the 'live' spot NY gold price and some museum size gold nuggets I suggest you visit a great site I found a few months ago. I purchase a few nuggets from them just about a month ago, and not only are they beautiful to look at but in just the last few weeks they have really moved up in value!

I'm actually saving to purchase others!
