I think India has not caught up to that yet.

In the US it just started in 2005-06. It is a simple stock that you buy and sell. But, I think in India you do it through commodities only.

So, call the brokerage house and ask them that you want to do F&O. They will open the account and you will be able to do commodity trading from there. There are so many better things than trading gold also.
