IRA with T.Rowe Price now, should I move it to Vanguard later? |
hi Both are great firms. T. Rowe Price is my favorite of the two. The way they do their "target" funds is much better than Vanguard (active funds vs. passive index's). If you roll over your Roth Ira into a new IRA I don't believe there should be a charge!!! Call Vanguard and see what they can do for you. If Vanguards fees are less for the Roth over time it will definitely make more money and even if T. Rowe Price charges you a small fee should not stop you. Both firms are excellent, with low fees. TRowe keeps a higher % of stocks as you near retirement age, I would stay with them. |
