Accounting Journalization question, please help..?


How would you journalize this in an accounting general journal and then ledger?? (if there's any calculations, which ones)

Investor A purchased 7,500 shares of $1.50 par value stock in exchange for an investment of $25,000.

Dr Cash $25,000
Cr Common stock $11,250
Cr Additional paid-in capital in excess of par $13,750
(Being proceeds of shares issued to Mr A)

Debit cash for $25,000, credit stock for $11,250 and credit additional paid-in capital for $13,750.

Assets = OE-Liabilities

Share Capital Account - Credit by $25000 and Debit bank by $25000.
