I have 40,000 dollars to put away.?

I have 40gs check to put away. I dont want to leave it in the U.S. because the economy is soon going to collapse...what should i do with it? No investments please..I want to open an account in a different country, what do you recommend??

If you really believe that the US economy is going to collapse, and I disagree, and you don't want to invest the money, then you have little choice but the currency of another country. Anything you do with it is an investment of some degree. An account which holds bonds of the top rated corporations of the most stable countries outside the USA is one idea. Balance that with currency of a few countries, such as Turkey, New Zealand, and Germany.

Of course, if you really believe in economic collapse, the best "currencies" will be gold, water, and ammunition.

swiss bank account

Invest in the investors that will buy bear stocks and turn into huge profit.

Collapse? Learn to look at line graph. lol.

I say learn to trade it. Right now many professional traders are making tons of money.

You can make money when the markets go down as well as up. All you need is to know a few simple rules and create a system.

This website will help you with that.

Europe

philippines or china. philippine peso or chinese yuan are strongest in asia and are stillgetting stronger. better buy their currency than keep it in the crashing dollar. I prefer philippines, becuase everyone can speak english. Both Their economies are fast-growing. you may also cnosider singapore

I strongly recommend you not post your intention of trying to move more than $10,000 to an overseas account in a public forum, by doing so you instantly trigger an IRS audit!

Silly goose!

collapse? wow. I thought I was bearish. take advantage of the downtrend until it collapses.
