Which type of savings would generate the most interest? |
I'm looking to put my money in an interest bearing account. Any ideas of the best bank and (or) investment that would generate possibly 10-15 percent annualy.?? I want to make a profit. I'm not afraid to take a risk, so whatever ideas you have I'm open to hear. I can't think of anything that would get 10 - 15%... the highest I could speak of, out of personal experience, would be a CD account, which could get you between 4 - 5.5%. Stocks are the highest long term returns at about 9% annually. You can open a broker account and buy an ETF of a market Index. If you buy individual stocks one can achieve higher returns. ETF's of foreign stocks have been doing exrremely well. Money Market Funds only pay %5 or less. Maybe you can invest in borrowing money to someone. Check my profile. You can be become like a personal banker and decide who you want to lend your money to, based on their profile. That is how the banks work. Buy Small Cap Premium & Dividend Income Fund (RCC). The current annual dividend yield is over 12%. It trades like a stock, so of course there's a risk that the stock price will go down. |
