Is this fake email or real email about giving money? |
I get this email from some stranger -- SCAM! FAKE. Think about it. Why would this person contact you? If the money really existed and she really had a claim to it, she would be able to get it through legitimate channels. scam. the latest datelines have been covering e-mail scams that start like this. mostly out of africa. they will milk you for lotsa money. It is unquestionably a scam. It takes the form of the notorious "Nigerian scam". It absolutely is not legitimate. If you feel that you need confirmation of the illegitmacy of this bogus offer you would be well advised to place a quick telephone call to your local law enforcement agency or District Attorneys office and run it by them. Please do not respond to this bogus offer at the risk of proving true the old adage about a fool and his money. Best regards. |
