How best to send large amount of funds from US to UK?

I am making a $50,000 US investment in a company with an HSBC Bank account. I have bank address, ident number (no ABA No.) and account number. My bank is no help. How can I get the $ there quickly at reasonable cost?

if you get all of the account information for the company you want to invest in, and if the company agrees to accept a wire transfer, that would be the fastest and cheapest way to transfer funds.
Check with the receiving bank to see if they charge to receive a transfer.
May also be a charge somewhere to convert dollars to pound.

Try Western Union Money Transfer or the U.S.Postal Money Remittance system

I would do a bank wire transfer (for a small fee) or you could western union the money....

Try Western Union or Money Gram. They are so efficient
