What's the ideal way to save smartly and become a millionare? |
1st I apologize if this sounds superficial. But it is what I want...To be able to start and support a family in the future, buy a house, etc.(The American dream I suppose.) having lived very frugally for years. I do get disability retirement, but that's it, and I pay my own medical. My youngest one just moved out, so my utilities bills are coming down and my cell phone (we were on a family plan together) is way down (she's in boot camp right now). When I did have a bit of extra money, I remodeled my home, like with good windows, roof, etc. This was a good investment (to lower energy costs). I just refinanced my home from 8.5% to 5%. At age 54, I doubt I'll be a millionaire, but with what little I receive each month ($1300), I manage to survive. visit library to learn what wealthy and wanna be wealthy do - read. |
