Collecting gift from grandma's will?

I'm 17 years old and my late grandmother left me some money in her will. My father got the money from the lawyer and instead of putting it in my bank account he wants to put it in some investment fund account. I don't want him to do this because I'm unsure I will be able to withdraw my money once I'm 18. Will I?

Because i'm worried that I wont be able to get it.

you should get ur money at 18 regardless and if your dad can make so interes of of it why not as long as you get your money at 18!!

Depends on the investment. Some have fixed timescales, some don't
