Who think textbook methods for judging investment opportunities are not always useful in privately owned firms


This is a accounting question. please give some main points to support your ideas or reasons.

This is an accounting question. Coz people need to look some company's income statement or balance sheet to judge if invest to buy the company or not. please give some reasons or main points to support your answer.

The question makes no sense. Accounting is concerned with proper recording of past events. Investment opporunities are judged based on their expected performance in the future. So what does one have to do with the other?
