Investment experts pls. help, I need guidance.?

My friend back then sold me a VUL life policy and I have been maintaining it for more than five years. My question is , is it possible to open an Roth IRA account and cancel my VUL and roll over whatever I have in the VUL policy to the new account to avoid tax panelty. I just figure that VUL is not such a good option for me to invest in right now. High fees and low gain, but good death face value. Thanks

VUL is not a good policy because the rate of return is very low.

According to the table of cash values, you will be little for your paid premium. You will not get the face amount, you will be getting the cash values. It is a bad exploit and lies that ever told by life insurance agent.

Bad investment and was never was a investment to begin with.

You either go along with Life Annuitty (act as a life insurance but is connected to a mutual fund account as investment) or a IRA account.

Sorry but you will get income tax from your earned cash values insurance.
