Closing an investment account? |
What is considered as account closed? If for example i buy stocks through an online broker and sell my stocks, does that mean my account is closed? Or is it closed when i withdraw all my money? Also, are there any fees associated with closing the account permanently? Some accounts have fees for closing the account, some don't. The only way to know for sure is ring up the company and ask if they have fees. No it is not considered close, you should inform your brokers of your intention to close your investment account and follow their procedures on how to close your account. |
