Best way to approach a venture capitalist firm ??? |
I have a terrific concept for a Web 2.0 technology startup however I am not sure how to approach a good Venture Capitalist firm. This concept would require a big investment (around $1 million). What are some of the good VC firms as far as technology startups are concerned? Also does it make sense to openly describe the concept on sites like GOBIGnetwork (i dont feel so...) Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Also is it true that you need to have a WORKING concept before VC firms/Angel investors invest in the concept. My concept requires technical expertise which unfortunately I do not have. At the moment guidance is more important rather than money. The very FIRST thing you need to do is write a killer BUSINESS PLAN... without that, no venture capitalist firm will even let you in the front door.... and you MUST do it in person... they won't accept an e-mail. |
