Is this a good land investment?

We are thinking about investing on a piece of land that is about 80 acres in size. After searching through Google Earth, we realized that this land has a elevation differences of about 25 meters from north to south, north being the lower part. This piece of land is filled with trees... Can someone give me an advice about it? Thanks!!

fine if you want to invest on the north side of a moutain

buying something without being there to physically see it is never a good idea. Could be land locked, could have regulations about any future development.. etc..etc

There are hundreds of thousands of acres in texas south east of el paso that is offered for sale at $10-25 an acre but who really wants to live there with no access,power or utilities. So its worthless

what do you plan to do with the land.

Just owning a piece of land doesn't mean it's a good investment unless it will increase in value.

The topography really isn't the important issue.

What is the property zoned for and does this conform with your plan for the property? Make sure the property can be developed, has deeded access, and depending on the area, is accessible year round.
