I am thinking of buying a condo in a complex that just did a condo-apt conversion. Is this a good investment?

I am relocating to Columbus, Ohio and found a condo in Hilliard that I really like. They just converted the complex from apartments 8 months ago and are completely refurbishing them with the buyers specifications. I am wondering if this is a good investment considering this is a condo/apt. conversion? This is new to Columbus I understand, and I am wondering if it would be better to buy into this or an existing condo community. I would appreciate any advice!

Be VERY careful and shop around. Many times conversions lose value rather rapidly.

Check the reputation of the converter and other projects converted.

P.S. Not "new" to COLS. Were doing conversons when I lived there 20 years ago.
