I'm looking for an investment banker....?

That would be willing to be a mentor to me. I am a college student and want to eventually become an investment banker. I'm looking for someone who would be willing to share with me there story and give me advice from time to time through email. More seriously, see if your school has something like the program at the University of Georgia (http://www.uga.edu/~honors/pdfs/FacultyM... or maybe like the New York University Alumni program (http://www.nyu.edu/alumni/groups/mentor.... So, in the first case, some of the faculty may devote a tad bit of extra time with you. I know that some of my economics professors were the academic equivalent of 'gentlemen farmers' in that they had been well-rewarded in their field and taught to be helpful and useful, not because they needed the work. As for the alumni association, there are scads of graduates who would be happy to help out from time to time. Your field, however, is not as well populated as engineering or such, so the selection pool may be a bit small. Good luck.
