Can buy New iraqi dinar ? (as investment) please give a advice?

My friend offer me the new iraqi dinar.(not old one - saddam picture). This is new currency notes. Is it legal to keep the currency with us such big amount of 80,000 dinars.he told me after 4 or 5 years time we can exchange to USD, then we can get good exchange rate.
please advice me.

Yes it is legal to keep the currency.

My view is that Iraqi Dinars are not a good investment. You might do well, but it's more likely that Iraq will not exist in 5 years. The country will break up and the currency will be worthless. There are lots of better investments out there which are much lower risk.

Have you ever seen a country in the world ever jump from Communism to democracy and have a stable economy? No.

The middle East's economy depends on oil. By the time Iraq may have any stable economy let alone a profitable one. Oil in that country will be at minimal levels. We are talking at least 20 years from now.

Trading in currancies is alot less complicated than stocks. But do some homework before you even think about it. Asia is the best market to buy into right now.

yes it is legal, just spend like 20 bucks, its no big deal, and they sure are pretty
