Looking for Share Investment Advice (UK).?

Hello.
I am looking for share investment advice for a number of companies trading on the London Stock Exchange. I'm very much in the Warren Buffet school of thought that if your buying on the up, you've already missed the boat.

Are there websites of trading advice around and their reasons behind them?

Also, I see Buffet has gone big in Israel at the mo (I presume he feels the conflict is not as large as the media portrey or it will blow over sooner rather than later). Are there any London based companies with a link to Israel?

Thanks!

Buffet has bought one company that happens to be based in Israel. That's not the same as going big on Isreal. He normally has approx 25 companies in his portfolio, all bar 3 or 4 will be US companies.

Buffet currently owns 2 companies trading on the LSE, Tesco and B&Q. If you are of his 'school of thought' & looking for London based investments you should probably start by taking a closer look at them.

The only website with a smiliar investment approach that I'm aware of is the Motley Fool. Alternatively you could cut out the middle man and just buy stock in Berkshire Hathaway. Thats the company which Buffet chairs and uses to make his investments. It is traded on the New York Stock Exchange, the B shares (BRK-B) currently trade at about $3000 each.

try the yellow pages

Warrens a senile old fool now*, lost his touch, lost a packet shorting dollar and moving out of equities in the last few years too

Loads of London based firms have links to Isreal, since they're all jews in the City .... just pick any of them and ask around, STX directory if u want to get it off the LSE, contains all member firms phone numbers ....

*In my opinion

fool.com
