Are building societies safer than banks? |
In view of the current Banking problems are Building Societies more secure than banks for investments ? I guess that you are referring to the current credit crunch (resulting from the sub-prime mortgage problem in the USA). no probably just the same.it`s the lending of too much money that is causing the main problem What problems....no problems at all....building societies can generally give a better deal to investors, as they do not have shareholders, only members....but they are all as safe as each other. |
