Confused about assets and liabilities on balance sheet?


I have to make a balance sheet and i dont know what goes under assets and what goes under liabilities

There is:

Investment by owner
Bank loan
Cost of the house
repairs to the house
furniture expense
kitchen equipment expense
computer expense

Please help

an asset is anything that puts money into your pocket and a liability is anything that takes money out of your pocket...

Why not read the text you have covering all the items that you listed. Then you will begin to understand basic accounting or house financing , whatever, and the next course will be much easier. That's the best advice anyone could give you. If they solve your problem you still wouldn't know anything.So, how does that help???
