Is accepting an internship in London with an I-bank a wise decision?

I have an offer to go to London and work for an investment firm. Does this sound like a good option? I do not want to work in London but I do want the experience. Will experience in an international firm help me out here in the States?

I think it would be a great experience and investment banking in London is certainly a big, influential field. Also living overseas is a great experience.

London is expensive though so make sure you are going to get paid enough to live on.
