Salary ???

What is the highest education level you need to obtain to earn a high salary in the Investment Banking Field?

You could get your Bachelor's and work you way up to a high salary, OR you could get your MBA and not have to work as long to get the high salary. Either way, investment banking is probably a profession that requires experience.

Masters is prefered. Knowledge of investing is a long learning process and still you are guessing.

With a bachelors from a decent school, you can start off making 150k a year (80k base, 70k bonus). Some firms hire MBAs or math PhDs for quantitative work and prop trading, but experience is more important than education. You'll start off at the bottom as an analyst no matter what. Bear Stearns is especially meritocratic, and their chairman Alan Greenberg is famous for saying they'd rather hire PSDs (Poor, Smart, Desperate to Get Rich) than MBAs.
