Does anyone know about the American Index Eagle investment? The stock market is sapping it, what to do?

I am losing a lot of money, and although I was assured by the Bank of America that I would not lose my original deposit money,
I don't really trust them, they have lied to me on several occasions.......
their most recent lie was that in an Election year there would be no depreciation in the stock market, ya right!
They will say and do anything to keep their commission, the Bank of America will!
So with every day the stock market hitting a new low, I am loosing about 4000.00 a month!
I am hoping that one of you guys might know!

You would be best advised to wait this out. What you have is a principal-protected "structured note". At best, you get some participation in the upside of the market, pegged against an index. At worst (unless BofA goes bankrupt), you get your money back when the note matures and lose out on the foregone interest you might have received in some other guaranteed investment with no upside.

You might be better off with different investment advice, seeing as you completely distrust BofA. Or maybe just make your own investing decisions and do it on your own at an e-trade. By the way, you CAN transfer that security to another firm, it isn't tied to Bank of America, so take your business elsewhere if you truly believe you are being lied to, as there really can't be any good reason to stay if you don't believe they are looking out for your best interests.

****as a complete aside...No offense intended, but you seem a little paranoid. Maybe a Bank of America representative guaranteed that the market would not go down in an election year, but such a guarantee would be incredibly foolish and impossible to make. On the other hand, if he/she suggested that historically the market has done well in election years, he/she was correct in such a statement. Keep in mind that people can be wrong without having "lied". I really hope that you aren't being led astray, but there is a lot of malpractice in the industry, and banks aren't typically a great resource for investment advice.
