Can I work in UK?

Hi guys, I am from HK and I was a graduated from the University of Essex doing Sociology and Criminology. I've come back to my home since my gradudation and I miss UK BADLY. I'd love to be able to work there and was I'm just wondering:
1) My student visa has already expired, is it possible to get a working permit and what should I do?
2) Do UK employer usually prefer not to hire oversea students because they don't speak native English?
3) Which types of job, in my situation, should I be applying for so that the chance for them to hire me is higher?

I've had a four months experience working in an investment bank as a compliance assistant. I'd very much love to work in the field of housing management e.g. anti-social behaviour officer.

Thanks you guys for kindly answering my questions~

A visa has to be obtained by your potential UK employer. However, visas are generally only granted for overseas people if the job in question is very highly skilled and / or their is a labour shortage in the UK ie pharmacists, engineers etc...It really would depend on the job you are qualified to do as any employer has to justify why they cannot find a suitable candidate in the UK for the job - good luck

Uk is about working experience...

alot of english are getting out of the uk, why on earth do want to go back ?

I agree with Ecks, most employers want experience and your degree is only useful for showing that you are able to study and learn. There are a lot of jobs in the area you want in the voluntary sector - see the Guardian on Wednesdays for these jobs. A good way to get experience is by doing voluntary work, so maybe you could come to UK, work at whatever you can get while doing some volunteering and gain some experience so you can apply for a housing job.
