Shall I quit my job to prepare for my PhD? |
I shall go for my PhD in US next Fall. The whole process of searching right universities, faculties, corresponding with them, applying etc, demands time along with studying for GMAT.I work for an Investment bank in UK and i don't get enough time for all these. Should I quit my job and return India and give my 100% to it as my real aim in life is to pursue a research & academic career? I guess this really depends on how much you like & need this job. If you quit, will you be able to support yourself? Don't quit from your job if you aren't a rich man. |
