What role may there be at Goldman Sachs for a Law graduate?

In a couple of years i hope to complete my law degree from oxford university and have been toying with the idea of appliyng to Goldman Sachs. How highly would an Oxford law degree be viewed and would it confine me to any particular role within the comapny or could i branch out into any division? Any answers from people with insider knowledge and general comments about life in an investment bank or specifically at Goldman Sahcs would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

You are judging my grammar skills on a quickly drafted question? If they really were not up to par i don't think i would be where i am now, but thanks for your concern and i'd like to hear which university you are at/went to :)

There's a general rush to get internships. Here are some details. I think it's probably too late for this year. That way you can try out a few positions and see where you face fits. There are so many jobs out there that one should forge ahead with as few preconceptions as possible. If people take a liking to you, you'll probably be able to land a permanent job without too much of a problem. http://www.wherewomenwanttowork.com/care...

Good luck applying with the grammar skills you have.

I guess some roles would be in compliance, assistant general counsel, general counsel, and depending if you want to digress, into the higher paying relationship manager investment banker roles once you have a foot in the door. Degrees are viewed extremely highly and you won't be considered without one. I worked for an international merchant/investment bank for 17 years as a PA.
