JP Morgan or HSBC?

I have been offered a graduate position in Operations at HSBC (Investment bank division) and a graduate position in technology in JP Morgan. what should i go for?

I have a computer science degree but I am interested in Finance. Is it easier to move from operations to trading or technology to trading in an investment bank.

Operations to Finance/trading might be a smoother transition as the fields have more similarities than technology/trading...in terms of day-to-day, hands-on experience. Operations will teach you the back-bone of how businesses function whereas technology may require more qualifications to move up/out (worse case, you become over-qualified and they can't afford to lose you to another position that isn't technology)

Not to sound mean, but the only concerns I have are your qualifications for an Operations position given your computer science degree, but if it was offered to you, then they must know what you have obtained towards the job.
